Media, Sponsorship and Events Coordinator

Kansas Public Radio, on the campus of the University of Kansas in Lawrence, is seeking a Media, Sponsorship and Events Coordinator to promote KPR via communications initiatives and events. This position is also responsible for planning events, assisting with KPR’s membership drives, and raising funds by managing underwriting accounts and event sponsorships. Weekend Program Assistant

The Audio-Reader Weekend Program Assistant (WPA) ensures the successful delivery of Audio-Reader programs, with specific responsibilities for the Telephone Reader and Special Request programs.

The position reports to Audio-Reader Program Manager and works closely with Coordinator of Volunteers (COV) and Listener Liaison, and is expected to assist all staff with other duties, as assigned. In addition, the WPA works closely with Audio-Reader's 450 volunteer readers and administrative support staff.
