Listen to the Audio-Reader broadcast:

The link to listen to Audio-Reader is password protected with a Java application. Because you clicked the pw webspeak link, we assume you can not use the Java app, and that you probably are print disabled, and you will be temporarily allowed to bypass the password page. You still need to register. There is no charge.

Audio-Reader's on-air signal is now available to blind and print-disabled internet users, and to other radio reading services for rebroadcast. The signal is distributed at the highest quality possible while keeping it available to 28.8 dialup modems.

There is a RealAudio G2 feed available, and a lower quality RealAudio 5.0 stream. The feed is password protected, and is only available to persons unable to use regular printed materials, such as daily newspapers, magazines and books.

There is no charge for service, but you must be registered to gain access. To register and obtain access, please send email to reader@ku.edu telling us your

  • diagnosed disabling condition

When you have registered we'll give you a password for access through Java capable browsers.
