![]() Set up an RSS reader and get programs automatically
Programs in the Audio-Reader archive have RSS tags. This means you can "subscribe" to any Audio-Reader program, and have the new edition delivered to your RSS reader. You could, for instance, have the Sunday morning newspaper readings delivered to your reader each week. There are lots of RSS readers, some free, some with fees. One of the easiest free ones is the Google Reader. If you have a Google/Gmail account, the Reader will use the same login. Click to visit the Google Reader home page. Here are listings of the programming broadcast on Audio-Reader. To subscribe to a program, click its RSS feed button. This will open a page of coded text in your browser. What's important is the URL, the address of the feed. Go up to the top of your browser and copy the address. Then, go to your Google (or other) Reader, and click the ADD A SUBSCRIPTION button. Paste in the RSS address, and you're done. Whenever you go to your Reader, the latest show will be there ready to play. |
