Donation Drive

Audio-Reader Donation Drive of Audio Goods

Saturday, October 17, 9am-1pm

Audio-Reader will be hosting a donation drive in the Lied Center Parking Lot (1600 Stewart Drive), in Lawrence on Saturday, October 17 from 9:00am - 1:00pm. See map below for additional details.

Donate your gently used audio equipment (vintage and modern), vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, cassette tapes and musical instruments. The Audio-Reader Network's annual benefit sale has transitioned to a series of monthly Facebook Live sales for this year. Dates for the upcoming sales can be found here.

Audio-Reader will provide a contactless drop-off for items. Donors can choose to either remain in his/her car while Audio-Reader staff remove the items, or donors may place his/her items on tables provided. Per KU requirements, all Audio-Reader staff and donors must wear a mask during drop-off. Donors will be presented with a tax-receipt. The most popular items at the sale are rock-and-roll records, turntables and vintage audio equipment.

Proceeds from Audio-Reader's Audio Sales help provide access to news and information for blind and visually impaired people across Kansas and MIssouri.

Sorry but we do NOT accept: 78s, VCRs, VHS tapes, TVs, Computers and computer accessories, 8-tracks

For questions or additional information about the donation drive, please contact Meredith Johanning here.
