The Whole Person Events

The Whole Person offers a broad range of services to people with disabilities to increase their ability to perform day-to-day activities and reduce the need of support from family members, professional attendants or other care-giving services. Our services and programs build the confidence of these individuals and improve the many skills they need to live, learn and work in the Kansas City metro community.

Nation Federation of the Blind (NFB)

The Community Voice

Since 1994, The Community Voice has used the power of journalism to inform and empower its readers. They cover news and fill information gaps on issues of importance to our African American audience as a way to empower them to create positive change in their lives and their communities.

Council of Citizens with Low Vision

CCLVI is a non-profit and Special Interest Affiliate of the American Council of the Blind. "We are an international nonprofit organization and community of individuals who understand low vision needs and experiences. CCLVI is here to provide support, resources, education, and advocacy for those who are impacted by low vision and visual impairment."
