Volunteering with Audio-Reader means being part of our mission to Share the Gift of Sight Through Sound. People across Kansas and western Missouri struggle to read standard print due to vision loss, dyslexia, or reduced physical mobility, and Audio-Reader is there to help by making local printed news and information available in a volunteer-read audio format.

By assisting with fundraisers like our bi-annual Audio Sales, using your green thumbs in the Sensory Garden, or supporting our Volunteer Readers, you will be part of a 55 year and counting legacy of fostering independence and expanding accessibility in our local community.
