Audio-Reader Welcomes New Staff

As spring rolls in, it's time for both plants and Audio-Reader to grow! 

In late February and early March, we welcomed two new staff members to the team. 

Trish Dowd Kelne is our new Volunteer Coordinator. Trish has worked in the nonprofit setting for 20 years, with social service agencies providing community outreach, education and empowerment. She is an avid supporter of giving back to the community and delights her work with A-R volunteers serving the the A-R community.  She lives in Lawrence with her husband and teenage daughter, as well as their Australian Shepard, a handful of chickens and one turtle dove.

Martha Kehr is our new Communications & Listener Outreach Coordinator. Martha has a background in English, creative writing, and history in addition to decades of experience with office management, human resources, customer service, and outreach. She enjoys traveling, playing video games, and being a mother to her two children.
